Time is not renewable it slips by us day after day.....
This week marks a special set of days for me and my daughter. This week is the week that we share our birthdays, two days apart. As she's gotten older I no longer care so much about celebrating my day and find immense joy in celebrating the day I welcomed my little girl into the world.

From time to time we sit together staring into the archives of our shared lives thus far. She requests an old video from when she was a baby, I happily oblige. She sits with me trying to recount that moment captured. I sit with her reliving the experience while also succumbing to the thoughts of time and how fast it goes by.

It's almost surreal having my soon to be five year old, staring at her one year old self, as she is trying to speak her first words. She shares her take on the situation I listen carefully letting her explain what she just viewed.

These videos and photos were snapshots of a life already passed, one that has brought us to where we are now. In these moments I cannot help but reflect on how limited our time is on this planet. Before we can ever realize it a lifetime may have passed us by. A lifetime of joy, hardship, pains, gains, losses, triumphs and everything in between.

For me life is a very precious commodity I choose to live it actively and joyfully in every way possible, whenever possible. This thing called life happens so suddenly and at times so fast! For me in these very intimate and precious moments I can also appreciate that fact.

Everyday a new wake up, another day, minute, second left behind. A limited amount of that very time left in your path moving forward.

Live it to its fullest!
