These people are HAPPY, and I mean not only with a smile on their face, I mean genuinely happy inside & out.
Some of these people live in conditions that are not ideal to some. Compared to the life standards of most Industrial nations, these people are at the lowest of low on the economic ladder.
However they seem to be the richest of people in my eyes. They're genuine, they are not ashamed of who they are, they don't pretend to be who they are not.
No they don't have material wealth, but what they do have is a spirit to live, and make the most of the situation they find themselves in.
I never fully understood as a first generation child growing up in the United States. How can people that have barely running water, houses on the verge of collapsing, living situations that seem detrimental to your health.
How and why are these people so happy?
Constant images from media outlets always seem to portray what one must be or have to be happy. A big house, a new car , designer clothes etc. I believe the media has it ass backwards on happiness ( as well as many other things).
Being a lover of travel when I like to reflect on happiness I think of images like these

Be happy, life is to short to do otherwise : )
