First welcome to the year 2013, I guess we all survived the end of the world * cheers *, so lets get started with a brand new year here at IHeartTravel!
To get to where one wants there must be a path to get to the desired destination....

I'm greatly influenced by entrepreneurs of all sorts, their drive for success is always so contagious and inspiring. I recently came across a great resource of inspiration in the form of a podcast entitled BlogCastFM. Here Srinivas interviews varied guests who all have uniquely inspiring stories of success or fulfillment.
Now I don't necessarily consider myself a person interested in building a "business" but I do realize with this site and some new ventures on the horizon that I am dabbling in entrepreneur land. What really comes to mind when I think of it is a certain attitude I believe is either necessary or very crucial to getting things you want done.
This attitude consists of not being hindered by the circumstances of getting to where you want. It involves saying to yourself ...
" I have a vision, what and how am I going to make that vision a reality!"
Although I have not done any sort of research on this I believe that successful people (however you personally define that) posses this ability to think in a different sort of way. They don't look at the world in means of obstacles. They simply see a goal and do what they must to get where they would like.
At the moment I'm working on starting an apparel line and figuring out the logistics of getting this started has been a little challenging. This process mirrors traveling in a big way. When you find yourself planning a trip especially to an unfamiliar location you must begin to piece the puzzle together. What area of my destination do I want to explore first? What airport is the closest to my destination? What type of area is my hotel in?
Much like my personal travels have taught me, I know being in unfamiliar territory is a new challenge however I'm the sort of person that feeds on the challenge. Don't be afraid of it, embrace it, either way it will teach you a lesson.
Remember it's never a matter of getting there, it's always a matter of when!
