I've been craving an adventure for some time, one that will challenge me, one that will change me, one that will give me a new perspective. When my trip to S.America fell through I quickly came up with the next best alternative.....ROAD TRIP!!!
I'm pretty open to what this trip will entail. I want to just cruise across the U.S taking in its beauty, its vastness, anything for that matter.
So far I have a come up with a very brief "must do" list.
1. Visit New Orleans - I hear New Orleans is one of the last cities in America that still has a unique character, and I'm all for some place with its own charm.
2. Camp out in Yellowstone park - Although I was raised by city folk in or around a city, there's this part of me that's always drawn to the great outdoors. I want to just sit and marvel at the beauty of nature; I think Yellowstone could offer me that.
3. See California for the first time - I'm not sure why none of my adventures have ever took me there but I will indeed be changing that with this trip!
My hopes is to come across fellow travelers, free spirits, and overall interesting folk. I will also be couchsurfing while on this adventure and picking up hitchhikers (after recently being inspired by this show ).
Before I depart I will add some spots to my list....
Tornado chasing in the midwest
Desert Drive in the southwest
Karaoke in Nashville
Walk in the Grand Canyon
The adventure is plentiful and I'm in good health and high spirits. What the road will bring I can only guess, but I'm ready and open for what comes my way!
Have any recommendations of must see places in the U.S?
